WHAT IS MEDICARE?

Medicare:  A federal health insurance program for a: 

• Person who is 65 or older

• Person younger than 65 with specific disabilities

• Person with End-Stage Renal Disease also known as ESRD (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant) or Lou Gehrig’s disease

There are 2 ways to get your Medicare coverage through:  Original Medicare  OR  Medicare Advantage also known as Part C.
